Was the Barbie to be or not to be
Diary of a scribe:
Monday why the hell did I agree to do this.
Tuesday, worked, too tired.
Wednesday, day off, can’t be bothered.
Thursday, S...t day at work, go home ,have large damson gin (homemade last
year) grandson comes to visit, tells me am slurring my words so shod hash
mag.
Friday worked late therefore home late, feed the cat, feed the chickens and
shut them in, feed myself, slump in front of telly before crawling into bed.
Saturday, I lead a sad life, no going out and having a good time so here goes......hash
mag time!!
Driving to the start,
I failed to recognize the lovely Gannet, she was driving a pretty blue polo
in pristine condition. She keeps it that way by making Scrotey take her to
the hash or anywhere else that might be mucky, but unfortunately poor old
scrote was too ill to hash but not too ill to watch the Tour de France on
the TV. I was intrigued by a device near her windscreen, Ramraider thought
it was a sex toy, what sort of life does this man lead? Mmmm.. I know,it had
little screen, so it must be for watching porn when stopped at the traffic
lights.
Mr and Mrs Shrek had problems parking their car, I think they may have had
a cross word, but don’t tell anyone.
And so the great dilemma began, to Barbie or not to Barbie, will it or won’t
rain?
Answer: those who wish to Barbie, can, those who prefer a bit of comfort could
go to the Leaping Salmon.
Glani and Biff set a suitably convoluted run in true Glani fashion, most of
us dutifully weaving in and out of the ferns knowing that that we would end
up on Pew Tor.....except, of course, Barney Rubble, he who is a law unto himself,
walked straight to the top waved his arms about, shouting "Why are you
taking so long!" Because we play the game don’t we?
Racy was heard to moan that it was a typical Glani run. It was a nice moan
though ....I think.......
Richard from the VonTrapp family said it was a “fine” run but
could not be persuaded to comment further. What diplomacy from such a little
one!
Being very old and a big wus (how do you spell that) I went to the pub where
I found Luscious looking for her glasses to read the mag.Oh dear Dementia
is setting in early, because she wrote it.
Virgins Sally and Siobhan will be coming again they just loved it. I noticed
they were shoehorned into a very small car with Slick and Sam who hasn’t
a hash name. That’s because you haven’t paid your joining fee!!
Ask yer Mum for a fiver, sweetie, cos its going up to a tenner in August.
Yes, up to ten pounds in August, our earnest and somewhat serious Mr GM informed
us ,are our committee taking lessons from the Tories? I paid £5 in 85/86
What would that in todays money, can anybody be bothered to work it out? dunno
what else he said as I was amazed to come across Russ Abbott and his photos
of trains. He has thousands, been trainwatching since 1992...I think. How
did he find the time to have nine children!! Apparently not so much hanging
about waiting these days due to mobiles, internet, digital etc.
My notes no longer make sense to me and my memory isn’t what it was
so i’ll finish now.
ON ON
I have some Frizzle bantam
chicks which I will be selling in a few weeks Very cute If interested please
